Ever have trouble finishing a painting or merch design because you couldn't find the right font?
Sailor Tattoo Hand Modern was developed as a way to solve some of the challenges I had with using the original version for some professional flash paintings. The flash paintings required less ornamented text in a heavier weight. To accommodate these painting projects, Sailor Tattoo Hand Modern was developed. Ornamentation was removed, stroke weight was doubled, and letter sizes were adjusted to balance out the removed serifs. The character set was streamlined to ensure a faster deployment, that is: I wanted to use it quickly, so I didn't fiddle around with all the accented characters.
