About the Typeface
Sailor's Fat Tattoo Script is a hand-drawn nautical tattoo font. The typeface was originally developed to merge seamlessly into your traditional flash projects without looking fake or digitized.

- Lower case glyphs now contain alternates with less embellishment

Version 2.006, July 2020
The July 2020 update to Sailor's Fat Tattoo Script includes a number of significant improvements:
- Digitally drew new numbers, punctuation, special characters, and accents
- Added spacing modifiers, and combining diacriticals
- Attached accents to glyphs in Latin 1, Latin A, Latin B, and Latin Extended Additional
- Reduced number of simple characters to 90 glyphs in order to reduce file size by 75%
- Optimized outlines
- Generated Black Italic style
- Increased total number of glyphs to 795
Version 1.10, April 2016
- We went back to our original source sketches, and recreated all glyphs with rougher, less vectorized outlines to better resemble hand-lettering.
- Character sizes have been increased or decreased to better balance the range of glyphs.
- New glyph designs have been generated for AE, OE, FI, and FL ligatures, as well as ſ.
- Ordinal characters have been added, as well as a small range of subscript characters.
- Tone 2 and turned V characters have been added to Latin Extended-B.
- Existing character designs have been replicated across European language sets, increasing total glyphs to 662.
