About the Typeface
Munich Regular is a light super-condensed neo-grotesque gothic sans serif, and one of our most popular typefaces. Munich is perfect for company logos, letterheads, and film poster credits.
Our latest release, Version 2.031, features a number of brand new updates. Here's what's new:
- Optically-calculated bearings
- Class-based kerning system
- Added a lean to the numbersign # character
- Tapering added to exclamation point, straight quotes, acute and grave accents
- Programmatic attachment and alignment of all combining diacritical accents
- Added new ligature glyphs and digraphs: fl fi ffl ffi st ts ls lz dz feng
- Made ligatures and digraphs available through OpenType Discretionary Ligatures dlig feature
- Vertically compressed combining accents on Aringacute to lower Winascent and reduce typo line gap
- Increased number of glyphs from 682 to 696
- Extended the crossbars on the E and F, accented E characters, AE, and OE
